Weddings are events with many happy memories, and Smooth has assisted many couples to make their days special. We liaise closely with our bridal couples (and their families when required) to personalise their nights so that they reflect their personalities. Given a sufficient amount of time, the band will learn songs that are significant to the individual couples – which may, for example, be chosen for their bridal waltz. We like to be a part of the planning process, and spend time with the bride and groom to plan what songs and events are required, and when to timetable them.
On average at a wedding we have found that we play between 40-50 songs. While the early part of the evening is mainly concerned with the formal part of the function and the band takes breaks to suit your planning, later on, when you and your guests want to party, we play for 45 minutes in the hour with fifteen minute breaks.
